Who is responsible

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments or other information you choose to include. We use this information to answer your request, investigate corrections and maintain relevant correspondence. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or information about other people that we do not need.

Hosting and technical information

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, which can include IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser information and error logs. These records support security, reliability and troubleshooting. Service providers may process information outside Canada, where different laws may apply.

Cookies and analytics

We have not connected an audience analytics provider or advertising tracker. Our application does not currently set analytics cookies. Hosting, security or protected-preview features may use necessary cookies, including to remember authorized preview access. Browser settings let you control or delete cookies; restricting necessary cookies can affect access. We will update this notice and obtain consent where required before introducing additional tracking.

Retailer and affiliate links

Some links to Amazon.ca carry a tracking tag. Links to every other retailer go out plain, with no tracking attached, and earn us nothing. Following an external link takes you to a separate website with its own privacy and cookie practices. Amazon affiliate links are disclosed beside each link. Amazon may use cookies or other identifiers to attribute purchases.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting and email, or disclosed where legally required. We keep correspondence and technical records only as needed for their purposes, legitimate security needs and applicable obligations; provider retention schedules may differ. We use appropriate safeguards but cannot guarantee that internet communications are completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or withdraw consent where applicable by emailing hello@tailvetted.com. We may need to verify your identity and explain any legal or operational limits on a request. We do not currently offer newsletter subscriptions, user accounts or checkout.
