Terms of use
Updated · Page structure updated; this date is not a price verification.
Short, because there is not much to it. This is a publication, not a shop.
We do not sell anything
TailVetted does not sell, stock, ship or fulfil any product. When you follow a link from this site to a retailer, everything after that point — the price you pay, payment, delivery, warranty, returns and refunds — is between you and that retailer, under their terms. We are not a party to it and cannot resolve an order problem for you.
Prices and availability
We do not publish live prices. Records carry a price range with the date it was checked, because a stored price is wrong the day after it is stored. The retailer’s own page is the only place a price is true. The same applies to stock: if a link is dead or a product is gone, tell us and we will fix the record.
Information, not advice
Everything here is general information about consumer products. It is not veterinary, medical, or safety advice. Nothing on this site should be used to decide anything about an animal’s health. If a product could affect your pet’s health, ask a veterinarian, not a website.
The limits of our testing
Where we test, we test in one household with one cat and no dog. Results describe what happened in that setting, under the published protocol, on the dates stated. They are not a prediction about your home, your animal or your floors. Products we have not tested are labelled as untested — see how evidence levels work.
Manufacturer claims
Where a seller’s wording appears on this site it is marked as a claim and attributed to the seller. Reproducing a claim is not endorsing it, and is not evidence that it is true.
Copyright
The words, diagrams, photographs and data on this site are ours unless credited otherwise. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Please do not republish records or guides wholesale. Our own rules about using other people’s images are on the image and source policy page, and we expect to be held to them.
Errors
We publish what we verified and what we did not, so mistakes should be findable. If you find one, tell us. Corrections are made on the page itself, not quietly.
Changes
These terms may change as the site grows — for example when affiliate links become active. Material changes will be noted on this page with a date.
